Bull City Cool has exciting news: we’re welcoming two awesome tenants to the Food Hub! Relay Foods and LoMo Market are two food businesses that are bringing more sustaina-bull local food through the Food Hub! (We can hardly believe we resisted that pun for as long as we did, folks.)
We’ll let the two new Users introduce themselves!
LoMo Market is a mobile food market that describes their business as “a team of farm lovin’ folks who want to connect customers with farm fresh foods. If people who value high quality, local foods don’t have time to seek them out, let’s bring the food to them! We have created a new retail experience where the market is on wheels. You can walk through our market to pick and choose your favorite goodies. For those of us old enough to remember the “Book Mobile,” think of us as “local food” mobile.”
LoMo shares its priorities: “We want to help expand the market for local foods making it easier for farmers and local food producers to be successful by making it more convenient to buy their goods. They can focus on making more great food, and we can focus on eating better!”
Relay Market is an online grocery retailer that makes “shopping for quality, healthy, and sustainable groceries simple and easy. We’re here to help you connect to and learn about the people who grow your food, and to empower local producers by providing the online resource for learning about their products and practices.”
Relay describes its purpose in four parts: “We aim to make our customers proud to shop with Relay. We want to enrich the communities we live and work in. We strive to create a rewarding atmosphere for our employees. We will return honest and fair profits to our investors.”
