On delivery day the parking lot is stuffed with compact cars, their doors and trunks wide open like ladybugs about take flight.

People funnel in and out of the garage bay, like an orderly parade of ants, toting boxes of fresh veggies to their cars. Imagine a line of small insects with large green leaves hoisted in the air.

The hub itself is like a nest, from which a lively buzz of cars emanates.

But standardized testing aside, delivery day is a beautiful sight. When Bull City Cool set out to bring new life to the neighborhood, I don’t think we anticipated the unique form it would take.
