Bull City Cool is an entity that makes connections. Whether that’s through our tenant Farmer Foodshare, who connects local growers to local eaters, or through Farmers’ Meetings hosted at the Hub.
That’s great, but what does this have to do with a used refrigerator condenser, you may ask? Well, we had to replace the unit on our walk-in cooler, but the old condenser still could be of use to someone with a slightly smaller cooler. We tried to sell it on Craigslist and we even offered it for free over local farmer listservs.
Today, our old condenser has found a new home- with Bloomin’ Rose Flowers– and it’s supporting a local farm angle that Bull City Cool hadn’t yet connected! Bloomin’ Rose Flowers sources seasonal and locally grown flowers for weddings and events. Their mission is to provide artistic, skillful design with a low-carbon footprint and a sustainable, farm-supporting approach to the wedding and event floral industry.

Thank you so much for helping reduce landfill waste and instead getting this condenser to a place where it sounds like it is going to be perfectly used! Bull City Cool RAH!
