What we need: A light fixture that complies with regulations for food-processing AND fits the aesthetic of our renovations. Function first, followed by form.
Why we need it: USDA standards require light fixtures in food-processing areas to be cleanable, to have covered bulbs, etc. (i.e., loads more regulations that are worth having and following, but not fun to talk about)
Where we need it: In the two-bay wing of the food hub.
The Solution: A set of striking pendant lights shown here and provided by Pine State Electric and Lighting Center of Durham. These pendant fixtures will illuminate the space and comply with food-processing regulations.
It’s a win-win for Bull City Cool!
