We are thrilled to see the City of Durham’s sidewalk repair project in action all around the food hub!
Reinvestment Partners has advocated for the past three years to improve the neighborhood’s neglected sidewalks. Reduced to crumbles and weeds in many sections, poor sidewalks have forced individuals in wheelchairs and families with strollers into the busy streets.
Featured here are members of the repair crew, who have been working round the clock since March. Today their work approaches the food hub at 902 N Mangum St.
