After A2Z Contractors removed the warehouse fan, they set to work repairing the block frame that remained. Next, they filled the space with the glass block mosaic you see here.
As is par for the course, we’re thrilled to add another window to the food hub and particularly to the warehouse. This window lets natural light into the warehouse from a broad wall that previously had no windows.

I drove by your project this weekend and I wondered if you all are planning a grand opening where we can get a tour, meet and great with your vendors and maybe a talk on this great piece of history being brought to life? Or did you do this and I missed it?

Hi, Kat! We’ll certainly plan a publicity event for the Bull City Cool Food Hub after we receive our Certificate of Occupancy. And you’ll know when that is because we’ll be singing it from the mountain tops. Plus, it’ll be plastered all over the blog! 🙂 We’ll also be sure to let our friends and colleagues know so they can attend. Please check back, or subscribe to our blog, to get the notification right in your inbox!
